Breeding

We had a nice A-litter in spring/summer 2010 with Ch. Everwood Butterfly Kiss. The father was German Youth Champion Earl-Hunter vom versunkenen Schloss, which is out of one of the best scandinavian and english lines. A brown bitch (Celtic Gate's According To Legend) stood with us. Our next litter is planned for the end of 2011 or later. More information soon.

We're breeding under the rules of the German Dalmatian Club (DDC/VDH/FCI). We want to breed healthy, friendly and active dalmatians, which are all-rounders and also successful in the show ring as at nose work or dog sports. With Fly as brood bitch we have the best requirements to come closer to this goal. We're doing our best to prepare the puppies for their later life full of action.

If you're seriously interested in a puppy please contact us early under email address This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or via phone +49/6426/928602. Please consider, that a dalmatian is an active family member for many years.

Celtic Gate's Dalmatians

When I got the information that my dalmatian kennel "Celtic Gate's" under the German kennel club was FCI-registered, a dream comes true. In short why we chosed this prefix: We wanted a name with regional backround, but this was not so easy, who wants a kennel with a name like "of the Kruhluck" (that's the name of the little valley here) or "of the Karl-Müller-Street"... no, nobody wants this. Now we have a little mountain in the region with a well-known archeological excavation with a celtic gate, that was built up there after original examples. But in german the word sounds too strict (Keltentor), more suitable for a german shepherd kennel than dalmatians. We translated it into English and that was it. :)
